Abstract:

Free Radicals and Antioxidants is dedicated to publishing novel, original findings in the field of free radical biology and both natural and synthetic antioxidants. Free radicals, which are defined as molecules containing one or more unpaire electrons in their outmost atomic or molecular orbital have emerged as double edged swords. Recent research has revealed that they can be both benefecial (e.g. in microbicidal activity inside neutrophils) or deleterious (e.g. lipid peroxidation and membrane damage).Read more...,
